Animale Pinot Gris | Mornington Peninsula | 2020. Pretty and light, this wine is a wonderful delight that tickles your tastebuds with all sorts of good vibes. The nose is floral with a savoury twist whilst the palate is lean and fresh with citrus, pear and a slither of grapefruit that makes for good drinking. A charming wine that lands somewhere between an orange wine and rose having been made with 70% destemmed fruit and 30% of fruit being left on skins for two weeks. Drink now and until 2022. Queen of Sierra Amber | Sierra Nevada, Cali, USA | 2019. There’s heaps of flavour and personality in this orange wine with mango, ginger, stonefruit and floral notes bursting out of the glass. A blend of mainly Verdelho, Albariño, Muscat, and Chardonnay that’s well built with tea like tannins and a chalky grip on the finish. Super limited juice that’s complex yet still super fun. Deliquente Weeping Juan Pet Nat Rose | Riverland, SA | 2020. It’s Light, breezy & easy and filled to the brim with flavours of strawberry, lychee, apples and hints of brioche. Super fun for those warm days ahead and drinkable from dawn til dusk. Made with 90% vermentino and 10% Nero D’avola that was fermented separately before being blended and bottled (prior to the Nero finishing fermentation). No preservatives were added. Drink now.
