Dark and spiced, lifted with with ripe red and purple fruits draped from a structure of firm tannin. This is ripe Nero, handled gently; a short 14 day maceration, pressed to seasoned puncheons and barriques. Grapes grown by Troy McInnes of Chalmers Vineyard on the eastern slopes of the Camel Ranges, within the Heatchote GI. Barrel aged for11 months. Bottled with 40 ppm sulphur dioxide. Bottle aged for 5 months.
