Violets, mocha, earth, black fruits and sweet nougat are supported here by a supple structure, fresh acid and firm tannin that lingers on. With a velour, velvety mouth feel this wine is luxury in a glass, as it purrs through your mouth like a Rolls Royce.

Grass Roots and Chi: Made by husband and wife duo Dudley Brown and Irina Santiago-Brown, Inkwell wines is a fabulous project of passion and dedication.

Both fanatical about vines and wines, Irina and Dudley work towards creating change in the way we produce wine, and both are involved with numerous initiatives that work towards this.

Irina provides consulting services regarding sustainability systems (including biodynamic, organic and sustainable) after completing her masters and PhD in Sustainability in Viticulture at The University of Adelaide. Dudley is also involved with many local initiatives and all of this is done whilst managing and tending to their own vineyards which they farm organically and biodynamically.

Inkwell wines are definitely worth watching with this duo at the forefront of sustainable viticulture in Australia.
