Made 100% from Sangiovese (a name derived from the Latin ‘Sanguis Jovis” which translates to the ‘blood of Jupiter’), this single vineyard wine opens up with smoky notes, spice, and after reveals beautiful berry and cherry notes that are enveloped with elegant structure and chewy tannins. It is medium bodied and luscious, with 6 months of ageing in old French oak building complexity rather than flavour.
